Home Alone Another great movie

We just got done watching Home Alone.  Another favorite.  This is another movie that can be watched anytime.  I know there are a few Home Alone movies, but to me this is the best one.  It was released in 1990, and has a lot of good actors..Macaulay Culkin, Joe Pesci, and John Candy just to name a few.  If you get a chance watch this movie with the family and enjoy..don't forget the popcorn!!

Ice Skating in Atlanta Ga

We may not have snow yet here in Georgia, but that doesn't stop us from ice skating.  Admission is $10.00 and that includes skate rental.  What a great way to spend the day with the family.    You can get more info at www.CentennialPark.com 

The Meaning of The Candy Cane

             Many years ago, a candy maker wanted to make a candy that would symbolize the TRUE meaning of Christmas-JESUS!!

             The hard candy was shaped like a "J" to represent that Jesus is our rock of all ages.  The candy was made of white to stand for the purity of Jesus.  The red represents the blood that Jesus shed to save us from our sins.

              So, next time you see a candy cane, take a minute to remember the real meaning of Christmas.
