I've always been a water drinker, but about 4-5 weeks ago I noticed I had slacked off a lot on my water. I was drinking more tea or not enough. I don't know, but I got an UTI/bladder infection. So now on my menu of drinks ain't nothing but water. Every morning I make my husband coffee and I'll pour myself half a cup, and take maybe 2 or 3 sips of it. In 3 weeks I haven't had a full cup of coffee, a glass of tea, or soda. I think I'm water logged..lol. Not really. I love water, but I would love to sit down with a glass of sweet tea with lemon. When I do decide to have that glass of tea, I'm sure I'll have a bottled water right there beside it. So to all you carbonated drink drinkers, give water a chance. Water is actually good for you. Add a squirt of lemon to it, it gives it a different taste.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09978010784270762583noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6700408625234898475.post-58422111497910785182014-09-15T22:20:00.000-04:002014-09-15T22:20:06.007-04:00Time fliesWow!! It's been almost 1 year since I posted a blog. Time flies by so fast, and I know sometimes it flies by too fast. My youngest son is almost 15 and my oldest is almost 19. Did I just say that?? I can't believe it. It seems like yesterday they we were babies. No matter how old they get though, they will always be my babies. My babies are handsome young Christian men, and I am so blessed to have them. I am so lucky God chose me to be their mom. My boys are my strength and they have made me who I am. I love my 2 boys so much and I am so proud of them.
My marriage of 4 years has also flown by. I can't believe it's been 4 years already. Ups and downs are part of it, but I love the ups. The downs, yes we learn and grow from them, but those are also the times when hearts get broke and it seems as if our world has been turned upside down. But its our love for one another and 1st and foremost our love for God that has gotten us through a lot. Put GOD first in everything. Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09978010784270762583noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6700408625234898475.post-22218771105257194612013-09-24T19:34:00.000-04:002013-09-24T19:43:54.910-04:00POND'S LUMINOUS FINISH BB+ CREAM
How you can help. Larry Miller is a man on a mission. He is looking for a stranger who is willing to be a living kidney donor. He is a 79 year old marine veteran who now needs someone's help. His kidneys are damaged by medications, he's lost about 8% of his kidney function, and he is praying he doesn't need to go on kidney dialysis. So he and his wife are getting the word out that they need help.
Miller said'" he asked them if they will not, if they're not in a position to offer a
kidney, please pray for him. So one way or another, he feels that he's going to get
a kidney donor." He is at Emory Hospital, so if you or someone you know might want to help him please call Emory Hospital and ask to speak to a transplant coordinator.

My husband is a living kidney donor. He donated on June 26, 2013. He said he would do it again if he could. In the beginning of all this he got curious and wanted to bless someone, so he found out everything he would have to do to see if he was healthy enough to donate. He had all kinds of test ran, blood drawn, and x-rays. Everything came back normal. The step after all that was to find a recipient a match. After a few potential matches didn't match 100% we got a call about a woman who needed a kidney and my husband was to do more blood work because matching this woman was like finding a needle in a haystack. Everything matched, and on June 26 2013 my husband donated his kidney, and the kidney was flown to Michigan and the woman received her blessing the same day his kidney was removed. She and new kidney is doing good. My husband is doing great. He experienced a lot of pain afterwards but that's to be expectant, it was a major surgery. Then came the gas pain which I don't think he expected to be as bad as it was. But day by day he got to feeling better.

If this touches your heart and you feel like you would like to help Mr. Miller or anybody else in need of a kidney, contact a transplant coordinator in your area.

There are just over 3,500 Georgians are caught up in a medical waiting game. They need a kidney, but don't have a donor.
They were expecting a baby, who had a neural tube defect. I love this stuff. It's so good and right at this moment I know I can't eat it, but I sure am thinking about eating some. Another thing I love is neck soup, but I use smoked turkey legs instead of the smoked neck bone. Its so good too. Gotta have sticky rice. My family loves it. Yum this sounds so good right now. To bad my belly won't agree. So I guess I'll just have to stick to chicken noodle soup, and ginger ale. Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09978010784270762583noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6700408625234898475.post-53879810844644315402013-06-30T23:12:00.000-04:002013-06-30T23:12:04.890-04:00My boysI love being a mother to my awesome sons. He still has some pain and some gas pain. Its crazy cuz its like I'm having all his gas symptoms (not fun). We both been eating on Tums. He has got to do a lot of walking, so we've been walking up and down our road. He wanted to go to Wal-Mart, so we were there for about 2 hours. He got in a lot of walking today, but he still has to take it easy for about 8-12 weeks So that means no lifting over 5 lbs, no exercises, no pulling, tugging, or to much straining, no work and NO IBUPROFEN EVER!!!!! Basically all he can do is sit and walk. Oh yeah and he has to take in deep breathes so his lungs will be strong. Poor guy, but he's an awesome guy!! Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09978010784270762583noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6700408625234898475.post-76038348407841194962013-06-26T21:29:00.001-04:002013-06-26T21:29:38.646-04:00My hubby, my hero!!As I sit here in this hospital and listen to the sounds of the equipment I thank God my husband is doing good. I pray that the person receiving his kidney has no problems and her body accepts her new kidney. It broke my heart today when they brought my hubby to his room. He was breathing hard and in so much pain. I did ask him if he was ready to do it again, he said, "no". Then I asked him if he had it to do over would he? He paused for a few seconds and said, "yes". What a great gift he gave to someone else to help them have a normal life without all the machines involved in kidney failure. He is sleeping at the moment and his mouth is so dry. Poor guy, earlier all he could do was get sick. Not good with all the cutting, stitches, and glue. I pray everything goes good with him and that he has a normal life without one of his kidneys. He's one of the best people I know and I am thankful his heart is like it is today. So thoughtful, caring and giving. I'm proud of the Christian man he has become. I thank God for him and I will always love and cherish him. Keep him in prayer. Thank yall!!Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09978010784270762583noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6700408625234898475.post-42451623359570921402013-06-21T15:16:00.001-04:002013-06-21T15:16:22.748-04:00A true act of kindness!!Just a question?? Would you donate a kidney?? Would you donate a kidney to a complete stranger?? I don't think I could not to a stranger. I would to my family if they needed one. I know someone who is going to donate their kidney to a complete stranger. I have begged him not to do it, but he really wants to help someone who can't live without a kidney. I'm scared for him but I'm trusting in the Lord. The surgery is going to take place on Wednesday and the kidney will be flown to the hospital where the recipient is. The person who is donating is not expecting anything in return, not an award, not to be recognized, not to be known as a hero, nothing. How many people do you know like this? I am blessed and honored to know this person. Keep him in your prayers and how far will you go to help someone?Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09978010784270762583noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6700408625234898475.post-23680475919442888532013-06-04T09:58:00.000-04:002013-06-04T09:59:31.453-04:00To my daddy..im loving memory..Happy Father's DayOn this Father's Day as every other one I remember my Daddy, who is no longer here. He passed away in 2007. Not really something I expected. On his birthday and Father's Day I look at his picture and tell him I love and miss him. And tell him Happy Birthday, or this month Happy Father's Day. He may not of been around me all the time, but the time we were together were good times. The last time I seen him was April 2006, a dear lady Miss. Annie and myself drove to Tennessee to see him while he was in the hospital. Seeing him then broke my heart, and that was the first and last time I seen him cry. I know without a doubt my daddy loved me more than anything, it doesn't take a daddy being there everyday to know that. I have some great memories with my dad. I can still hear him leaving me a voicemail saying, "hey baby, it's your daddy". I would love to hear his voice again. But I know he's in a better place. I know where ever he was he'd come as quick as he could when I needed him. I remember when I was having my first son, my daddy drove from Tennessee and stayed a few days. He would drop everything for me. When I had my second son, my daddy couldn't be there, but he came as soon as he could. In my eyes he was my hero, he may not of been there with me everyday, but he helped others who didn't have anybody. I was blessed to have my daddy and I love him so very much. To all who still have their dads, tell them you love them often, and see them whenever you can. So this Father's Day like all others....HAPPY FATHER'S DAY AND I LOVE YOU DADDY AND MISS YOU SO VERY MUCH!! Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09978010784270762583noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6700408625234898475.post-26991814340715534862013-06-04T09:32:00.002-04:002013-06-04T09:32:23.313-04:00Police dog's farewell to partner

How awesome is this, he plans on re-enlisting into the Army as a firearms instructor. Sam is getting another homecoming gift. AmVets and Home Depot teamed

We have a friend named David who loves the Lord as we do and he loves to witness to people. He has gone as far as Indiana to spread the word of our Lord. He never misses an opportunity to witness. He passes out tracts, they look like business cards, real cool. No he does not make people take them. It's entirely up to the person who he has approached if they want a tract or to hear the gospel. Well he told me today how this past weekend he went to Stone Mountain Park and was witnessing to 3 Muslim women and they were listening and having a great conversation, when out of the blue some crazed lady started yelling and getting loud telling David to leave those women alone they don't want to hear it. Then that womans husband started on David too. So these crazy people had nothing better to do than to go to park patrol and tell them that David was witnessing. You know its not up to the crazy people to determine if those Muslim women should hear what David was saying, its up to them. If they were listening whats the big deal?? Just because some people may not want to hear the gospel doesn't mean other people don't want to or shouldn't. Since David wasn't talking to that crazed couple to begin with maybe they should of kept on walking. So the park patrol told David where he could witness, that there was a place for that in the food court area. To me anytime is a great time to spread the word of God. I say keep doing what you are doing David. One love, One way, One God!! Time to have lots of fun. Whether its fishing, swimming, playing basketball, vacations or having a bbq, its all about spending time with the family. So far to kick off our summer before its summer we have been swimming, and fishing. Swimming is awesome to cool off on these hot days. Just use the sunscreen. You gotta protect your skin. Little ones should always wear floaties or a kiddie life vest. Even the older children should use precautions while swimming: No running (slippery when wet), No diving in shallow water (you could hit your head), NEVER swim alone. Just a few rules that should be taken seriously. Fishing well that's a smelly situation. Oh and slimy..gross. I love fishing, but I can't touch the worms, to slimy for me. Oh and what about the smell in the house after you filet the fish you caught??? Smells real good huh? Yeah right. Stinky!! It's fun family time here in the south and we here hope everyone there has a safe and fun summer!! Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09978010784270762583noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6700408625234898475.post-62626669735706492672013-05-29T18:50:00.004-04:002013-05-29T18:52:32.159-04:00Poor Baby!Today as I scanned the internet news, I came across a story about a newborn baby in China. So I thought I would read it and see what was going on. Well come to find out a newborn baby was stuck in a sewer pipe, after the mother of the baby gave birth in the toilet. The mother of the baby said that she the baby slipped out of her hands and went down the toilet drain. The baby was freed by firefighters a few hours after the call was made about sounds coming from the pipes. The baby was taken to the hospital and is said to be stable, except for a few bruises on his legs, arms, and head. The baby known at the hospital as Baby No. 59, weighed 6 pounds, 2.8 ozs. People have came to the hospital to donate diapers, formula, and clothes. Pray for this precious baby boy. Here's a video of his freedom from the sewer pipe. http://www.today.com/video/today/52019063#52019063
Rangers believe the alligator has made a home in the swamp land in the Chattahoochee National Recreation Area on the Cobb County side of the river but near some condos and apartments. There have been sightings for a few years, and yesterday finally there are photos. The photo is of a 8-10 foot almost 300 pound gator just lying there. Not sure if I'd been standing there taking pictures, but my husband would of. Regular sightings have prompted the park service to post warning signs near the swamps and main walking trails. The signs urge hikers to keep their small pets on a leash. Some are worried that recent wet weather pushed the alligator's turf closer to apartments. They are leaving the gator at the river for now, so be on the look out. Be safe.
Yeah BBQ's are fun, but that's not what its about. Memorial Day is about remembering all of the soldiers who died serving our great country. Yesterday during our morning church service we watched a video of just a few of the fallen. There are so many who fought for our freedom. So remember them and their families. Many soldiers did make it back home and may not be the same. They seen a lot fighting for our freedom, and now those horrible images will be with them forever. My brother in law is one who has a hard time. Right now he is in a VA hospital getting the treatment he needs. May God Bless you all and have a blessed and safe Memorial Day!! His dog went missing on May 8, 2013 in Hudson Florida. The man said that his dog is his best friend, his heart and soul, if anyone sees him please bring him home. Friends of the mans set up a facebook page asking for help and once word spread reward money was raised. Soon after Handover was returned. The couple that returned him wanted the reward money to be used for the owner and Handover. This is such a great story of how there is still good people who want to do the right thing. Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09978010784270762583noreply@blogger.com0
